The Society of the Missionaries of Africa was founded in 1868 in Algeria; and it rapidly grew into an influential Society of Apostolic Life alongside the birth of most African countries. This anniversary celebration is a time to remember, understand and refine the vision of our founder, Cardinal Charles Lavigerie. He was always clear in his mind that this foundation was the work of God, that God himself had willed and chosen the missionaries to be witnesses of His Love to the African peoples beyond Algeria and the Sahara desert. GonG_GoNG 2018 EDITION

La communauté de Maison Lavigerie avec le Père Didier Sawadogo

Depuis un an, notre petite et humble Société des Missionnaires d’Afrique a décidée d’acquérir une grande maison de formation de la quatrième étape à Kinshasa. Avant, il y avait un petit groupe de formation (PGF) qui était basée à Salongo, Lemba.

La nouvelle maison porte le nom de ; Maison Lavigerie. Elle est située dans la commune de Limete, 3e rue, quartier résidentiel, sur l’avenue de la Révolution. Cette maison qui est toujours en aménagement depuis lors, comprend 26 membres qui forment la communauté, dont 23 étudiants et 3 membres de l’équipe Continue reading →
